Finally, something working at native speed not those sluggish ports!! I think you are on the right path. The only comment I should say is that personally I dislike multiple windows applications, I always end up in a mess and moving between windows the workflow is continuosly interrupted. Please, have a look at the GUI of something like Adobe Fireworks. Another thing: can you please implement a text tool that directly modify text as it is on the canvas without the need of popup windows that force to use another window to modify it? If you plan to set up a bounty I would gladly contribute to it. |

![]() Looking good already. It definitely needs to open on it's own screen though, and at 1024x768 the main sketch window behind is too big (default size should probably be screen minus toolbox width).

1024x768 ? That must your screen size, it default is bigger than that ![]() I agree about own screen thing, and utlimately windows will be snapshotable to your own desires. The point of the large sketch window is to give as much workspace as posiible, to draw and see what you are drawing. Press the TAB key to hide the GUI. This apporach won't suit everybody, but it will be customisable. |
