Did you try it? The current status of the support of the Pixma MP540 is "complete" (pixma backend). |

Yes I did try it and I got a lock up forcing me to reboot using the reset button on the tower. That's all I did though so maybe I should give it another go. |

When did the machine lock up, after connecting the USB cable or after starting XSane? If it was XSane, could you see the device selector? |
