Will there be any updates for OS4.0?

While waiting for the OS4.1 I was wondering whether there will be any more updates to OS4.0? Reason I am asking this is that I am still experiencing crashes with the current public Radeon driver during boot and I have understood there is a newer driver which might fix my problems.

Which will probably be in 4.1 and fix your problem anyways

I thought 4.1 IS the update to 4.0???
It's not that 4.1 is something like the step from [curse] 2000 to [curse] XP, is it?

I have understood that OS4.1 is not a direct (nor free) update for OS4.0 - someone please correct me if I am wrong.

AmigaOS4.1 is only for users that have AmigaOne, and yes its direct update from OS4.0.
I don't think I have seen any official price information for OS4.1.

There might be OS4.0 update for classic Amiga 4000/1200 computers, but nothing is confirmed, because AmigaOS4.1 includes stuff that will not work on A1200/4000, like new 3D based intuition system.

Google Replies:
