New RadeonHD Driver

Not too shy to talk

There's a new RadeonHD driver in the A-EON page.
in the readme says " version 1.0 cr1"
But the files seems to be the same that the last version.
53.5 for PCIGraphics.card
53.26 for RADEONHD.chip
Even the date is the same.

It's a mistake or an April's Fool ????

no its REAL!!!! and works fine, as previous version did.

RadeonHD.chip 0.55 ( 4-02-2013)
PCIGraphics.card is the same as previous one.

The new driver is a release candidate. If all goes well it's a v1 afaik.

Err...yes...i like the new update too

(stupid universal translator is broken again -- ORGIN, fix it)

I just did the 2DGfxBenchmark from Hans deRuiter's site and, boy, that thing flies compared to the last time i tried (0.53)

Yes, it's a "little" more fast.
My HD5450 PCI edition give me 1148 versus the old 989.
But that it's before the update 6.
It's a great job from Hans.

This new drivers only are for 2D rendering, we forget to play 3D games until the gallium or 3D engine...
