This has been discussed before and, IIRC, the conclusion was that Webkit is about the only portable bit that we could use, and it's already part of OWB. The javascript JIT would have been useful if there were a PowerPC version, but there isn't.

Still, if someone wants to take a closer look at the code, maybe thay'll see an opportunity that others haven't.

Yes, and Webkit is also used by Chrome. That's why I thought a part of it was already "ported" to OS4.
But of course, it doesn't mean that it would be easy to port the rest.

I just thought it would be easier to port Chrome than Firefox, but maybe not.
