Not sure if A.org needed to change their site but I don't like it at all. I personally will not be visiting it as regularly as I used to until it has a similar look and feel to the previous incarnation of it.

It used to be the "big 3", o.org, aw.net and here, now I am not sure.... a.org looks like a much smaller site now....

Am I being too fussy?

They had to change as they were using an ancient version of XOOPS which didn't support PHP5, and the web host had a forced upgrade.

The forums are back, but the but the rest of the site will be rebuilt over time.

I actually thought it was quite a smooth transition, all the old user accounts and threads are intact dispite changing to completely different software.

Not at all.

IMHO if an Amiga based website cannot be made to work well in IBrowse then it is not worth using. Even worse when it is a "classic" site where people cannot use OWB as an alternative.

Obviously most Amiga sites these days are just for the benefit of PC users
