Multiple Monitors in Devs Monitors OS4.0 - Which one??
Amigans Defender

See User information
Hello all,

Gotten further in trying to install OS4.0 on a Classic PPC A1200 with BVision.

However, within DEVS\Monitors there are shed loads of monitors installed. The one the A1200T is using at the mo is Cybervision PPC (or something like that)

However, surely, It should be using Permedia 2? at any rate, I can't seem to get any higher screen mode than 800x600 with Cybervision PPC (Despite having added the screen mode in icon/tools) and I am worried that if I remove all the other monitors and use Permedia, it won't come up by default in Prefs/Screenmode.

Can anyone help me on this one please?

Cheers

Mikey C

Delete them all except for CVisionPPC.

What are your Tool Types for CVisionPPC ?

A1XE, A1200T, X1000, X5020, CDTV, CD32 , A500+ A500

Anyone else with an A1200T PPC? Surely I can't be the only one?

Here is mine if it helps.

BOARDTYPE=CVisionPPC
CMPLENGTH=6
IGNOREMASK=YES
FAKENATIVEMODES=YES
VSYNCMIN=56
VSYNCMAX=75
HSYNCMIN=30000
HSYNCMAX=61000
MODE=400x300@60
MODE=640x480@60
MODE=800x600@60

MODE=1600x1200@60

INTERRUPT=YES

You can always use Picasso96mode to make a screen.

Then use the following tool type.

SETTINGSFILE=SYS:Devs/Picasso96Settings

A1XE, A1200T, X1000, X5020, CDTV, CD32 , A500+ A500
OS4.1b / OS3.2b

for 1024x768@60 you need at least a HSYNCMAX of 48000 I would say.

Check your Monitor for your [H|V]SYNCM[IN|AX] values.
