Yay! This is great. All around, great.

Could just be a series of dumb moves on my part, but I had trouble uncompressing the archive on my Mac Pro and on OS4 via Workbench or DOpus 5 methods. But going back to the old way of issuing an lha x command from the CLI (I am old!) / Shell saved the day here.

V1.1 is working great with my Type1 PS fonts loading into Modeler. Thanks for this! I plan to spend some good time getting to know this old friend (Lightwave) again.

I'd found problem uncompresing with Avalanche, UnARC and lha from shell works.

If you put together a good pack of TrueType 1 fonts for LightWave, let me know.

Many people have asked us whether LightwaveRTG extends this far or if we plan to add more features.
LightwaveRTG actually already does everything we wanted it to do, and then some. The goal was to make LightWave functional on machines more modern than a classic Amiga equipped only with AGA or OCS.

We are planning to develop something extra, but it will be an external add-on to the LightWave executable that provides new features Amiga users have always dreamed of.

To avoid name confusion—and to avoid reusing a name that is currently in commercial use—we have decided to name the new project "JumpGate3D"; this project involves adding features to LightwaveRTG or Classic Lightwave.

JumpGate3D is an original idea from my friend Kymon, and he has provided us with a beautiful logo and assets for it.

Type 1 PostScript fonts are what we are after, not TrueType fonts, which I don't think will work with LW. I have downloaded all the NAFCYI font collections from Aminet, which contain an assortment of Type 1 fonts, and have been randomly trying them out in Modeler.

I am on the lookout for others and will let you know if I find anything interesting. Perhaps the 68K Macintosh desktop publishing enthusiasts will be helpful, so I will seek in their realms!

Cool news about JumpGate3D.

Given LW's close ties to Babylon 5, I think JumpGate is a clever name for this new project. Am looking forward to what you guys cook up.
