I've just released on Ko-Fi USBAudio 2.5

https://ko-fi.com/post/Four-Bytes-of-S ... bugging-Sessi-K2B225EXUC?

For those without audio, try this version. If you still have no audio, AHI now also offers the option to set 44KHz. Try that.
If your sound card is on a USB hub, try plugging it directly into the USB port and setting it to 48KHz.
The problem appears to be with the USB stack and not the driver itself. I contacted Thomas to see if it's actually a USB issue or not.

@afxgroup

This may or may not help -

The USB audio dongle I use, has to be in place when booting or the OS hangs. Presumably when trying to play the startup tune.

It works plugged in directly or into a hub.

If plugged into a hub, the sound crackles a bit.

If the dongle is unplugged and plugged back in again, the sound no longer works. This despite the OS recognising the dongle has been plugged in.

Cheers

Unfortunately now the hub is a problem but at least we know where is the problem.
A new version is on the way because 5+1 or 7+1 cards are not working with latest HUB fix. Only two channels and in this case you have to choose a particular output and 44Khz to make it works behind an hub
I will release it soon once I fix some cracking problems on multichannel
