Today I gave this game a whirl and also offered commentary the only way I know of, off the cuff and I let it out.

I offer some fun little AmiWest tidbits about spending time with Trevor and other Amiga friends like Mike and Eric and Vali and Paulie too....

To hang onto the vine, you need to be in the right spot (e.g., by jumping onto it) and then press the Up Arrow key.
I should explain that somehow in the game — maybe with a sign.
