AmigaOS 4.1 Update 3 Borked My X5K 2.2 Enhanced Boot Drive

I don't have any evidence of Candi working after Update 3 (sorry if I made it unclear).

When we've tried to apply Update 3 for the first time, we had Candi up and running. Things went wrong and after trying to boot from USB stick, we've experienced some Grim Reaper errors, including the one related to Candi.

On the second attempt at installing Update 3, we had Candi switched off and didn't even try using it after the update.

Try boot without keyboard connected, or with another USB keyboard connected.

Open file kicklayout with notepad file

Put in text
MODULE kickstart/RadeonRX.chip

Maybe update3 write a new kicklayout file so

RadeonRX.chip not included in kicklayout

I had same problem as you have...try another graphic card for boot up with...example not a RX card if you have one...then you can modify kicklayout as i write above with notepad

I have already moved on to a new SSD and rebuilt my system.

In my case I could no longer mount the older SSD to see the contents of each of my 3 partitions. I could boot from my emergency USB stick but could not mount that drive so I opted to move on and start anew.

The old SSD can be seen in the drive utility software though so I will erase it and use as a drive elsewhere or in this X5K for data when I add my PCI Sata card for extra drives.
