Odyssey and java-script?
Quite a regular

Hi,

Just wondering what the js limitations are of our Odyssey (1.23 for OS4) and what possible improvments we still don't have.

I was just trying to use web.skype.com but it doesn't work. Seems it just stops processing in the middle of some java-script.

I looked at the source and saw this file: main.js and it is obfuscated and is on one or a few veeeerry long lines.

Does Odyssey/webkit have a problem with super long lines of js or something?

Outlook com used to look like it was without style sheets, on Odyssey. But once or twice it suddenly behaved. That's probably a Javascript thing, too. All that happened within a month, I never saw the layout before that.

@Deniil
tried to use modernizr?
The Odyssey javascript console & debugging are great too.As Safari uses webkit, you'll find more info on using these tools searching for Safari JS debugging

notably here the description of Webinspector

https://developer.apple.com/library/ma ... arted/GettingStarted.html

The debugger appears right clicking on a page & selecting "inspect element"
