We do have documentation on most of the earlier chips. However, the documentation pointed to earlier is for the R600 line, which, AFAIK, only exist in PCI Express versions to start with. Even if there are AGP variants, they will probably not work due to voltage constraints.
Besides, the documentation is 2D only. There are talks about the 3D part, but AFAIK that has not been released yet.
Seriously, if you do want to contact me write me a mail. You're more likely to get a reply then.
From my experience, it's a gamble really. The Radeon 9550 for example didn't work at all. I'd gladly support these cards if the documentation for the 3D part was available, but I have my doubts they will work.

Yeah.. i saw it with the 9800 XT i bought last week (and sold again yesterday ;) ) .. it doesn't even fit in the Pegasos' AGP port.. but it fits and works in the A1 .. Unfortunately that card was broken, so i just sold it again to someone else who want to tinker around with it ...
As for the RV670, well, if i ever get my hands on such an AGP card, i'll happily test them .. but as i won't buy such a card just for the sake of testing that will probably never happen :-/

any news about a MiniGL update? it would be reeeeealllllyyyyy appreciated..
No set date for a new release. However, I've almost completed adding selection support (just a few more primitives left to add). There have been a few other improvements too.
Out of curiosity, how are things progressing with porting your game to OS4?

Stalled. Considering I JUST noticed your question, that should give you an indication of how busy my life has been of late! Once my life calms down again, I hope to give it more of a shot. I bought Cubic IDE to do OS4 Development, but while I've installed it, I haven't even compiled a program yet on it successfully. I DID get an answer about how to do cross compiling via Visual Studio 2005, so I hope to be attempting that soon!
(Between work, and starting another business, I just have no time, unfortunately!) But I appreciate the inquery!
