@Spirantho
On a Hauppage WinTV bt878 card (at least amitv shows this), after switching to analog input, I see the noise for 1 or 2 seconds and the whole machine stuck (hangs). I need to push the reset button. I'm using interrupt disabled.

@tlm
I had the same problem. When you turn on the machine the garbage is just some 'noise' so no baud-rate can convert it back.
2 options left: 1. CPU died (can you try it in your friend's machine nearby?) 2. Q1 FET component died on your mobo.
I had the 2nd option, that component has been replaced and it works. We've attached an extra passive cooler on it, so it won't get burned again.
Do you have an experienced friend who can check that component for you?

Try another memory modules too. Try to change your serial speed also, because the nonsense chars means it isn't correct. Try with 9600. IIR that's the default.

I'm using the old icon, so no LOWMEM key is enabled. Could the old ICON cause it?

Put a : run >nil: Right before c:addnetinterface in your Startup-Sequence.
Don't forget to format your boot partition for SFS.
Good luck!

@BlackHawk "I hope that it okay am which I for German write, would be on English me too heavy. The problem with the SFS1.275 exists with the Amiga OS 3.9. After that first the instruction "SYS updates on new SFS von Version 1.273 to 1.275 becomes:" no more recognized. It is to be called e.g. not possible the instruction format over the Workbenchleiste, that starts the instruction from the drawer system folds without problems. The second problem is with the new version the non removable disks no longer to format leaves itself. After the high-speed formatting with SFS format or with the format instruction of Amiga OS 3,9 always indicated no valid DOS disk present is. Hope that the problem to solve is." At least usable.

Could be the PSU, but a serial log would help a lot to find the problem.

@Spirantho No, you don't have to buy, because the OEM version in OS4 is able to play MPEG1/2 streams. The limitation is the missing AVI support. You should be able to use it without registration. I'll check for bitmap data possibility. If it's not there I'll ask Cobra to implement it.

@Spirantho Unfortunately I cannot help you in this DMA problem, but if you are there to get some data, why don't you try to put all these things into a dvplayer plugin? Here is a nice SDK: http://dvplayer.amigarevolution.com/d ... DVPlayer-IOPlugin-SDK.lhaYou can spare a lot of time.
