Take a peek into the development process of the Southern Islands Warp3D driver (a.k.a., W3D_SI) in the latest post to the RadeonHD development log. Hans de Ruiter (the driver's developer) took screenshots at various stages during the development of the driver. So, step through the slideshow, and watch the driver develop from a skeleton driver that does nothing through to a full featured driver.

Software News : PowerSelect 3.0 released
Posted by jap on 2015/7/27 4:58:48 (1397 reads)
Software News

I am pleased to announce the immediate availability of PowerSelect 3.0. PowerSelect 3.0 is the pro version of the powerful icon selector tool PowerSelect.

PowerSelect allows you to select icons in Workbench using search patterns. Using mouse, selecting specific files (JPG image files, project files, files starting with letter A, files created on a certain day, tagged files, etc.) among other files is a daunting task and could take minutes, while PowerSelect selects the files for you in seconds.

Posted by Daedalus on 2015/7/24 10:39:46 (1304 reads)
Software News

I've just released an update to InstallerGen, my little tool for creating Installer scripts using a GUI. This update fixes a couple of bugs that were reported (in particular, a bug where some valid characters were rejected from the % complete gadgets), as well as adding a few extra features. It's available to download now from my website, and shortly from Aminet too.

Huge thanks to everyone who gave feedback and donations!

Amigans News : XAMOS author Stephen Harvey-Brooks (Mequa) has passed away
Posted by MickJT on 2015/7/19 22:33:38 (2255 reads)
Amigans News

I'm sad to inform everyone that Stephen Harvey-Brooks, aka Mequa, passed away on July 3rd due to complications during an operation to change a pacemaker. He was a member of most Amiga related websites and known in this community for the cross-platform AMOS BASIC interpreter, XAMOS. Outside of this community, he was heavily involved in debate on Epicurean philosophy. He would have been 33 on the 18th of this month.
