2) Doesn't help... no screenshots meeting the requirements I asked for.

3) Will look at AmigaExec's YT channel later (But they aren't in English so not sure what if anything is of use) ... all those others YT channels cannot be used - they are camera pointing at the screen or video footage.

This is the standard of video quality that is required, and before you ask yes I have PMed him he is busy with other projects atm.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LaEj00l5d5w&feature=player_embedded

So I know its possible!

I will publish more video content onto AmigaOS/YT myself when I have the X1000 as it should be more than capable of it; in the meantime I have scoured the internet - I believe there is no more quality video (screen-captured!) footage out there.

So like I said Vox.. please please please if you want me to add Pagesteam, Cygnus Ed 5, Art Effect 4, Atlas 6, AmiPhoto, Aladdin 4D and whatever else you recommend... you (or others) must spend 5 minutes of your own time and screen capture them for me! If you own any of those packages how hard can it be to do a screen capture?

In the meantime I will try and get in touch with the developers (again where applicable) for some screenshots that meet criteria, but its always going to be easier/quicker if the community helps itself.

Consistency is what I am asking for Vox, guys, everyone reading this thread, consistency is the key. It would look a mess otherwise.

I hope everyone will contribute a bit. Point is there is still some old software usable and some gone PPC and it`s not THAT bad at all. This is from reviews

We could ask EXEC just to add English titles and description or do us English ones

About FAQ`s and features and supported hardware:
this needs heavy updating to OS 4.1, SAM`s and X1000 when availiable.

Hope you will feel good as soon as you also start contributing, next year

A Wiki has been set up for AmigaOS.net.... its a bare minimum installation atm, but I have taken the time to set up a basic index page of the areas that the Wiki should cover.

Will put more work into it this weekend!

So point your browsers to wiki.amigaos.net and start contributing!

Good website but two niggles. How about a home button to mahe it wasy to get back to the home page. The other thing is the black area on each page shrinks itself after a few second, if this is by design then cool.

wiki.amigaos.net looks pretty cool ! Btw, for "developer" section you can add "db101" debugger (it's aos4 only and aos4 specific debugger). If you in interest, i can make a screenshot of latest version in action for you.

The site looks nice.

But I don't get way you have this huge background picture that's almost compliantly covered by the black.

Also I think the top of the page looks strange whit red and black, when you re-size the page it does not look so nice.

You should maybe add this CSS code:

<span style '{white-space: no-wrap}'header </span>

A tiny winy little help required please!

MISSION ONE:

Your mission, if you choose to accept it, is to write a small paragraph, perhaps 4-6 steps on how a user can change the position of the amidock, also describe how a user can change the orientation from horizontal to vertical. If you ain't too lazy please can you also explain quite simply how a user would create a 2nd amidock and position it.

MISSION TWO:

Your mission, if you choose to accept it, is to write a small paragraph of steps explaining how the user can take a screenshot or grab a screenshot of a selected window etc... Is screen capturing something which is apart of the OS? If yes, is there a Hotkey a user can just use to make a screenie.

Your Prize:

There isn't one... accept the near-completion of this page!
http://www.amigaos.net/tutorials.html

Please help, sirs and ladies, remember I don't have an Amiga (yet!) so really need you to explain this to me! Look at the other descriptions I have made they are short and sweet; please make yours short and snappy to!

This forum post will self-destruct in 5 seconds.... 5....4....3....2....1 KABOOM!

Ah cool, can you take some more for me please of AmiTwitter?

1. With English buttons and gui locale loaded.
2. With Active/Blue title bar.

Also love the background image you are using, are you able to upload this somewhere as well? Thanks.

Edit: Actually just managed to google your background image, more on the page too to choose from:

Submit your screenshots by signing up to wiki.amigaos.net and use the Upload file in the toolbox or use another free service such a Photobucket or similar.

You don't appear to be logged in/nothing of interest of screen and where is the blue/active title bar? \.o./

Sorry to be pedantic, but screenshots have to be consistent across the site. Active title bar is a basic requirement, use SGrab if you are having trouble it has a Countdown Timer feature.
