The same issue about music happens also on x5000, i.e. music is jerky. I tested some previous version of this port form Javier, all was fine before. Dunno what changed since that.

@nubechecorre

Music stutters also on X1000.

And I could not find the button on my joypad to walk, I only found the one to jump.

Nice port !

Opps, noticed too with "original" music. sorry guys. I use since begining OGG music/files:

You need to get the music from here: (38 MB)
https://www.popot.org/get_the_games/various/PoP1_DOS_music.zip
It's the last link here: https://www.popot.org/get_the_games.php?game=1
Copy the OGG files to the data/music folder.

Try with the OGG files and see if you hear a difference

for gamepad controll download:
http://jabirulo.byethost13.com/temp/sdl2/gamepadtest.7z

and see readm.now.

Just run controllermap like this from CLI/Shell:
controllermap 0 >>mapping

and post here mapping file/output and brand/model of the gamepad you have/use.
It should be something like this:
47656e6572696320202055534220204a,Generic USB Joystick,platform:AmigaOS 4,a:b2,b:b1,x:b3,y:b0,back:b8,start:b9,leftstick:b10,rightstick:b11,leftshoulder:b4,rightshoulder:b5,dpup:h0.1,dpdown:h0.4,dpleft:h0.8,dpright:h0.2,leftx:a0,lefty:+a1,lefttrigger:b6,righttrigger:b7,

OK, thx will update gamecontroller.txt ASAP

You can do it yourself if you want, just edit (it's a plain text file) gamecontrollerdb.txt file and add your "MAPPING" file contents at the end (#AmigaOS4)

In your case add only one, choose whichever you want, if it doesn't work try the other mapping.

EDIT: try this updated gamecontroller.txt (http://jabirulo.byethost13.com/temp/sdl2/gamecontrollerdb.txt)

Does anybody use a Julia soundcard on its system?
Using OGG files does it stutter too with such soundcard?
