Pangomonium is a plugin of epic proportions and the first plugin only available for Hollywood 10. Pangomonium contains an ultramodern, state-of-the-art text engine that can be used to draw text in almost any language of the world. On top of that, it also supports advanced text features like fonts with colored glyphs. This finally makes it possible to write programs which support emojis on Amiga! Pangomonium is based on the established Pango and Cairo text and vector graphics libraries and also allows you to access the complete Pango and Cairo function set directly from Hollywood scripts. Of course, there is also a high-level interface which allows you to conveniently draw text without having to delve into Pango and Cairo programming. Pangomonium has been two years in the making and is now finally ready for release exclusively for Hollywood 10.0.

An update to the Rave audio editor has been released on OS4depot.

RNOEffects is an image processing program focused on alpha channel based effects and batch conversion. Highlights of the new version are the Pixel Editor tool and saving images in the palette mode. New features are presented in a YouTube video.

The biggest change to the core is improved CSS support, including support for the “display: flex” property value, which improves the layout of some web pages. There is also a new option in the Choices to disable CSS.

Similar to the well-known XAMPP package for Linux and Windows, it contains the HTTP (web) server "Apache" with compiled-in support for the scripting language "PHP" (version 8.0.28 and 5.2.10) and the database server "MySQL" version 5.5.10.

This is to announce that bug-fix updates for the APNG and Plananarama plugins for Hollywood have just been released. The APNG plugin for Hollywood adds support for loading and saving PNG animations and Plananarama is a plugin that enables Hollywood to run on non-RTG screens on classic Amigas. Both updates are now available for free download from the official Hollywood portal.

Mickjt was kind enough to update the AmigaOS4 version of ffmpeg from
the previous version 4.2.1 to the most current version 6.1. (v6.0.1 for
altivec version).

In parallel ffmpegGUI has been updated to support some of the new
codecs and filters. Some small GUI changes and new setup files to
take advantage of new filters are included. ffmpeg verison 6.0 or greater
for all features to operate correctly.

Plananarama is the magic plugin which allows Hollywood scripts to be run on classic Amiga hardware without any graphics board. Once Plananarama is installed, all Hollywood scripts will 'automagically' run on palette screens as well! All resolutions are supported - from 8-bit LowRes to 1-bit productivity SuperHighRes Interlace. Version 2.1 is a minor update which a new feature which makes it easier to create applications that run on both, RTG and planar screens. Plananarama 2.1 is available for free download from the official Hollywood portal.
