Software News : Claws Mail 3.7.1 for AmiCygnix released

A release of Claws Mail 3.7.1 is now available on OS4-Depot. Claws is based on the GTK+ GUI toolkit.

Highlights:
* Can display HTML mails including CSS and DOM support.
* Support of vcalendar messages like that produced by
Evolution or Outlook. It provides a personal calendar and
public calendar import and export.
* Can receive RSS newsfeeds.

* Backup of messages in packed archives.
* Adaptive spam filter (bogofilter).
* Comfortable print support.
* Spell checking (Uses the Aspell dicts created for AbiWord).
* Comfortable and attractive GUI.
* Lots of more plugins and functions.

Supported protocols:
* POP3 / APOP
* SMTP / SMTP AUTH
* SSL / TLSv1 (POP3, SMTP)

Claws is very stable and secure and it has a lot of nice features. Have a look at the user defined actions - very nice I wished I could get libetpan working for IMAP4 and NNTP, Then it would be perfect.
