Software News

Hi all,

duriing my normal compilations, i've ported Lincity-ng to AmigaOS4.
What is Lincity-ng?:

LinCity-NG is a City Simulation Game. It is a polished and improved version of the classic LinCity game. Within the scope of the GoTM project we have created a new iso-3D graphics engine, with a completely redone and modern GUI.

Enjoy another Amigasoft game..

Great work!

However is it normal to have memory shortage on a mikroA1? I have roughly 177Mb free ram after boot, but it is not enough for LinCity.
(Can not open images, DSI errors or just hangs).
When gained a bit more mem (182Mb), it started, but after two minutes the memory was full again.

Is the time of virtual memory has come?

Bye!

Could someone post the amount of free mem before and after launch LinCity?

@afxgroup
That will help me much!

Tried to lauch it via icon: got some complaint in con window, so tried in the shell: got black screen+music. Had to use reset button.

The raised stack size in the icon and got black screen+mouse pointer that froze after couple of seconds, music played all the time. Reset button again
Had ~400Mb of free ram at that point.
