I am in if it is running OS4 and the price is right :)
Great work with the hardware - I am not a hardware guy but has been thinking how hard it could be to put together a basic PPC motherboard if you have the skills.
Or as Trevor said at an Amiga show "if you think you can do it better?? then do it yourself!!!"

if the price is right it can boost up the sales of amigaos4 and therefore enlarge the usersbase.. I still remember the first advertising of the tabor (A1222) and the initial suggested retail price.. then the time passed and the suggested price was not maintained for different reasons and that's a pity! So I hope this is the right time, a good balance between price and hardware would improve, imho, the usersbase.. fingers crossed

A dream come true if AmigaOs4.1 ever works on this machine and the price is right.
@Geennaam @Skateman
Absolutely great project and the specs of this board seem to be up to date. Well done.

Wow, this came out of nowhere! So exciting to see a brand new motherboard just appear. Very, very tempting. If I wasn't married, it would be a definite buy. :-) IMHO, the only thing wrong with the X5000 is the lack of Altivec. A board with similar capability plus Altivec is fantastic. I really hope Hyperion can bring OS4 to it.

Yes, out of nowhere! I knew Geennaam was a skilled coder, but had no idea he was a hardware engineer, too. Let's hope it can come to market...err, faster than what we're accustomed to.

I hope this project works out for all involved. It would be nice to see AmigaOS4 and MorphOS running on this hardware.
