An Alpha preview version of "Pete's FTP" is now available from OS4Depot.net.

PFTP is an advanced FTP client for AmigaOS4, featuring:

* Fully multithreaded design
* FTP to FTP transfers
* Multiple windows (for local and FTP connections)
* Browsing while downloading
* Drag and drop
* Reaction GUI
* Pause and resume transfers
* Resume files that are already present at the target
* Transferring of whole directories with contents
* Deletion of directories with all contents
* Passive and active transfers supported
* Optional automatic binary/ascii mode setting
* AISS toolbars

I have a couple of feature requests. 1: A possibility to run it on any public screen I choose. 2: A possibility to set default local drawer in prefs. 3: And the most important one. Encrypt user password and user name in prefs file or hide them somehow.

I like dual listers, so this is now my preferred client. AmiTradeCenter was good, but unstable every now and again. I'm glad to now have something native.. and not only that, it looks cool too! This may be an alpha software, but it already does the job just fine. I LOVE new Amiga software! Oh, I just had an idea.. In the "Completed" tab, could I please have another stat there? The average transfer speed for the file? Good work buddy!

Hi, i have a suggestion [if it not already done,have no OS4 and so cant test myself ..]: Possible FTP password length MORE than 32 chars ... This is my main problem ATM. AmiTradeCenter allow only 31chars [sad] and OpusFTP [last version] allow me 32chars [but not more ] .. and i use as ISP T-Online, the ftp acess to my t-online site is with an pass that build over my nickname+usernumber+Inet-number .. and this are 32chars .. good i have only a small nickname ...
