Software News : Pidgin 2.10.6 for AmiCygnix released

The chat client Pidgin 2.10.6 is now available on OS4-depot. Pidgin supports many protocols, which can be used at the same time.

New in this package:

New version 2.10.6 with many new features compared to the last version 2.5.2.

Spelling support, with optional underlining. Supported spelling systems: ispell, aspell and myspell.

New protocols for MXit, Facebook and Twitter.

Keyboard layouts that do not conform to ISO-8859-1 standard (eg Polish or Greek keyboards) are now better supported.

Dead keys are also supported now. For this the program uses the definitions in the keymap files in "KEYMAPS:".

Compiled with GTK+ 2.24.

Yes! In the screenshot you can see all supported protocols. Sametime uses libmeanwhile 1.0.2.
