formats: bmp, png, jpg, iff - complete feature list will be available on website before weekend. I am not telling to much here.... ;.) watch the space... it is done in AmiBlitz3.5 - means it runs in 68k mode. But it uses native PPC jpeg.library and datatypes. Did a bit of speedtesting: creating 479 thumbnails (320 x X pixels) from Canon 1000D shots at about 3880 x 2590 pixels (about 4MB size each): SAM 677Mhz / iBatch 1.0 = 13:44 minutes SAM 677Mhz / thumb OS4 (Thomas Rapp) = 14:39 minutes IntelPentium 1,7 Ghz / WinXP irfanview = 5:49 minutes greetings gerograph |

No luck to have aos4 native binary then ?:( Anyway, its pretty interesting. bmp,png and jpg are most usable, so, its already nice :) |

why the 'i' and not 'AmiBatch' or 'ABatch'.. quote from website ( "http://www.geobiz.de/KillApp2/heaven.html" ) couple of days ago: "...it is "i....", and "i...." is image related, not "i...." Apple related." Therefore it is just the short version of i(mage) Batch(er) !! greetings gerograph ! |

no sorry, no chance for aos4 native binaries, unless AmiBlitz 3.x will compile such binaries... But anyway I donnot think we get massive speed improvements by AOS4.x binaries. As you know lot of timecritical things are done by PPC nativ jpeg.library or datatypes... Maybe you could reach speed enhancement by not using datatype System on make up your own routines. A big speed improvement would be using EXIF embedded previews for some operations... but this might come in the future. However another benchmark: Same pics mentioned above take 52 minutes in FXAlbum (fxPaint) to be displayed. BTW Website will be updated in a minute, off the icons go.... thanks Martin... greetings gerograph |

![]() Looks great, although I wish it was using internal display/decompression as that can be way faster than datatypes.
Also I hope it's not written in hollywood as those softwares, while nice, are slow. |

![]() I have try it today on my peg/g3/os4.1.2 but it's asking for z.library > 3.2. After a quick search i found that i had v50 and i update it through amiupdate to version 52.1, but the message remains the same and iBatch don't running.
