@orgin Quote: Skimmed through the settings and I couldn't find a specific setting for that. A user-settable setting? Where? I didn't find it. Edit: Oh, you meant you couldn't find it ... Best regards, Niels

@All Something goes wrong sometimes with the dates of the news on the main page. For example now, when i logged in, all fine. But when i log out and refresh the main page, the news items are from the year 2006. I noticed it few days ago as well, but was able to deal with refreshing the page, but now even refreshing didn't help and only logging in helped.

@kas1e I just disabled the caching of the news module. Can you please check if you can reproduce it?

@walkero
I saw this same thing once a few days ago, when visiting as a guest (not logged in)- news items from 2006 or 2007, and if I scrolled down to the bottom of the home page the page selection buttons had me on some page number in the hundreds, instead of page 1.
I don't remember what I did to fix it- I think I just clicked on 'Home', but I may be remembering wrong. I imagine I could have clicked on the page 1 button, too.
I haven't seen the problem since, so it's not readily reproducible.

@george, orgin
That is probably due to some security reasons, but still worth to ask: is it possible to make it in code blocks, slashes to works too? Like \n to, \\, etc, so code pasted and copied from "code" blocks, can be used as it, without missing slashes.

No luck with ? Just putting another portion of code into the forum and all %d\n start looks just as pure %dn

@walkero I just tried to quote a mail and the whole quote was cut short on the first " it found. Take this post from Roman https://www.amigans.net/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?post_id=129325and try to quote it. I'll always end up with [quote]@Raziel Now once we deal with that

@walkero and another one Take any thread, like this one again: https://www.amigans.net/modules/newbb/ ... hp?topic_id=6866&start=801 - Scroll down to the bottom where the "Quick" reply input field is. 2 - Underneath are two buttons "Reply" and "New Topic" 3 - Click on "Reply" It will open the reply window but with @LyleHaze as person to reply to...why? Lyle is nowhere to be found, he might have posted in the whole thread, but i don't want to address him right now. Probably better to drop the whole @ when clicking on this button edit: That doesn't mean that i don't want to EVER address Lyle...he's a great guy, so...

@Raziel You are right. I could reproduce it. The reason it replies to Lyle is because that button sets a reply to the whole thread, where the first post was from Lyle. So, in general, it works as it should.
Now, do we want it? That's an other discussion. Probably not. Let me think about it and I will see what I can do.
Thank you for bringing that to my attention.

I just did some updates:
changelog
- Fixed the quotation of texts with double-quotes. Now the full text is quoted in reply. - Fixed the tagged username when someone replies to a thread. Now the thread creator is not tagged by default
More to come.
Thanks Raziel for the report of these issues
