OK I can confirm that CD Audio works on my sam440 with this version of quake and my clickboom quake cd.

All you need to do is set the the env variable quake1/cd_device to be your ide device and the quake1/cd_unit to be the unit number of your cd drive.

so on my sam440 I had to enter the following commands on the shell to make it work:
setenv save quake1/cd_device=sii3114ide.device
setenv save quake1/cd_unit=3

I'll be looking at the screen resolution issues and I'll be merging with version 2.30 which is on AmiNet. I don't know about window mode, maybe it's not difficult to do. We'll see.

Hi @COBRA
What exactly happens? What if you run it with the -notriplebuffer option?
The '-notriplebuffer ' tooltype solved the problem. Works nice! I use the 1152x864x8GLUT mode and it's perfect; sound is perfect too. Thanks for speed improvements.

@nubechecorre
Does this version of Quake support CD AUDIO ?, if yes how do i enable it ?
Check the Quake Main Menu - > Options.
