Direct jump to latest page

I'd like to ask for a feature

Would it be possible to have the page count on threads on
the front page (for now it's only visible if one goes into
the "Posts" sublink.

It's more user friendly to not have to go to a threads first
page first and then click on say page 6 to reach the latest
posts...

...and yes, i know i could change my settings to "Newest
first" but i don't want to

I am with Raziel, yes for me it's a good idea.
Actually I look at count posts, if it is high I click
on the "Topics" link and then I choose the rigth page.
