ok, maybe someone sees this as pretty silly, anyway

I just want to say thanx again to the all OS4 devs..
And hope Rogue get's the force, so that some small stiches
from people won't upset him too much!

I just used my old Artec scanner with ScanQuix under OS4.
Fast and work done in 2 mins.
This is since July update, on OS4 final, the scanprocess crashed.

the lsi53c8xx_override option works well.

SO A BIG THANK YOU from me! (sorry for shouting)

Thank you OS4 team for the awesome work so far...

If I might join in...

Thanks to everyone involved directly (and less directly) with OS4 Development... And I mean also a big thanks to developers (and "porters") who did a great job so far !
Carry on... My A1 is "almost" my main computer at home... Using the PCs mainly for Internet banking and P2P...

Me joins with you. A1 is the main computer here. On-line banking is done on A1's display (cygnix, can't live withiout it, with amiga theme the integration is seamless), all is completely transparent (key-based ssh used for passwordless launching remote apps/terminal windows, another app I can't do without it).
The other app I run remotely is matlab, but this has no chance to be an Amiga native.
Other stuff is done completely naitively (includes local X11 apps)
Everything just works.

I love the machine and the OS
Huge 10x to everyone involved (those whom I didn't explicitly mention too, the list is long)

I have a USB KB... When booting the A1, I have a few "KB Self-Test" error messages... Can this be fixed ?

Thanks again for all your hard work and I'm looking forward to the next AOS4 update !

Thanks to OS4 devs from me too. It's amasing how fast this OS is and how fast it feels (on such "slow" and "outdated" HW). For example when I'm coding I can keep just typing without annoying interrupts or sluggishness. It's quite responsive even with 100% CPU load.

Thanks to OS4 developers and CO, your doing a nice job,

I think 3rd party developers should focus more on common Linux libs, so we letter port larger Linux programs.

You're all silly!

There you go!

Thanks to everyone involved in this site, OS4 Development and those making positive contributions to any Amiga-related development, be that MOS, AROS or anything.

Cheers,
Rude!
