Re: QEMU GPU-PCIe AmigaONE

Well the card arrived it seems very quiet,
the drivers for windows 10 work perfectly.
Audio and everything else the connection is 6+6 pin

All that remains is to try it on Ubuntu Backup.
In these days I tried ParrotOS Linux and I had to download the qemu dependencies and even with the SiliconMotion version the audio was not heard and Parrot only uses PulseAudio by default.

So I think that in addition to the card some dependencies before compiling qemu can be important.

In this case the model I use is:

Asus Radeon R9 270X DirectCU II TOP
2 GB GDDR5 memory

So I see if the benchmark gets around ( 5,184.04 ) as another user tried.
and it surpasses the R9 280X 3 GB GDDR5 OC.

Of course I hope the audio works.

even with Kali Linux I had to download other slightly different dependencies and the audio could be heard with SiliconMotion

The audio is not audible the error is identical but now I understand that something is missing in the compilation.
Which I will see later calmly.

The benchmark instead is practically the same as the R9 280x
it is ( 2,580.60 ) in 1024x768 32Bit

here is the link to the test:

Asus Radeon R9 270X DirectCU II TOP
2 GB GDDR5 memory

http://hdrlab.org.nz/benchmark/gfxbench2d/OS/AmigaOS/Result/2948/

Well probably I have to see where the problems are.
I will take my time.
At least both cards work but the speed is almost identical.

I expected to reach ( 5,184.04 ) like the other user.
so there is something that does not work

In my configuration not only in the audio

This is the info if anyone is interested in seeing it.
Here are the current screenshots.

I will do a fresh install of Ubuntu.
To see if anything changes.

If I don't get any help, it's no problem I will try to see for myself what I can do.
As I did with WinUAE a long time ago.
Without any problems with anyone.

I will also try docker through Windows

@white
You already got help several times you're just not following advice. Have you completely missed post #178 earlier in this thread? And post #175 that shows the advice I gave is enough to find the solution.

Thanks for the work you have done, the version I use of AmigaONE works well with Silicon.
Apart from that, how do you believe in the philosophy of free software.

I believe in exchanging information.
And apart from some satisfaction, AmigaOS is practically dead.
I have no more interest in following AmigaOS, neither with Qemu nor with WinUAE, and these forums no longer reflect my way of approaching people and they no longer amuse me.

I want to thank you again for the work you have done.

I think it is polite to thank you because I will no longer write on this forum or on others dedicated to AmigaOS.

My best wishes.
