KVM for Amigas NG
Quite a regular

See User information
I read about this kernel module

http://www.linux-kvm.org/page/Main_Page

and i found on LinuxPPC some guys make their own kernel with it and increase really much the emulations under Qemu .

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=woL4ersW5Ho

I was thinking will be it possible on AmigaNG like X1000 and the new Amiga X5000 ?
Plus why not have this kind of module in AmigaOs 4 ? :P :P

This is the only definition of KVM I know of.
Emulation on Linux is some thing else, it just emulation.

What your taking about rally should be called KBVM or some thing else.

http://www.webopedia.com/TERM/K/KVM_switch.html

Keyboard Video Mouse = KVM

K(B)VM it sounds a lot like UML (User Mode Linux), not UML (Unified Modeling Language), from the description.

That's impressive. You're use a Radeon HD 4450 in your PM G5. Not bad. Anyway you could try my unofficial Mesa packages if you like.

Yes , i had This idea when see xorg asking me for x86 bios on the board. I become creazy two day for make my machine run xorg on my x1900 without results... Every time I have this message of x86 bios not compatible board.

The tip is use two video boards both on the machine, one Will be needed for open firmware and macos X with ppc bios, other for linux with x86 bios...

My idea after reading all the forum of all the distros was the Linux distro was not developed for the late 2005 g5 but for sure on older machine with agp and pcix

I make this experiment and I have lubuntu work on my g5 , I m not sure it is running on the quad but running only on one core because the bench of lubuntu gave me less point compared with the 1500mhz celeron and I don't see no ware the 4x CPU information..

Thank you for the tip I will report everything on the lubuntu forum for share my progress with other
