I get a complaint that my commodities library is too old (from Exchange)
it seems that the last version would be 53.7
http://www.amigafuture.de/viewtopic.php?t=34634

(Exchange on my system has version 53.14 and is asking for Commodities.library 53.4 = do have only 53.1
Where can i get 53.7 ?
(Amiupdate does not install it & Hyperion site seems to be down atm)

Just run the update scan again in AmiUpdate. The commodities.library didn't show before because it depends on the new Exchange version.

the connection is very slow, and it tells me nothing is found to be updated.

I tried also to update my SAM440ep, adn even exchange itself is not updated there (still 53.5)

Looks like the AmigaOS update server is down at the moment:
http://update.amigaos.net/

You will have to wait until it's up again. It seems to be having a lot of occasional down times lately...

If AmiUpdate can't access an update server it will time out out after trying for a while. It won't open an error requester or anything like that but there should be a note about it in the log file.
