That's odd. Mac::IPOD::GnuPod should have been installed by the installerscript. Can you retry the script, just select Mac::iPOd::GnuPod from the list of modules, then post the contents of the file T:perlout here.

That is very strange indeed! ... Ah! done a bit of diging arround and see a possible issue. I'm guessing like most people you've unpacked the archive to ram and then click the installer? I've just found a possible bug in the script where the space in the name "Ram Disk:" trips up the perl installation script. I haven't time to fix it just now. So if you read this before I do fix it, the work arround is to unpack the archive to a harddisk with no space in the volume name, eg work:temp/ would be the choice on my system. Sorry about that and thanks for your patience! Andy

Yes, you are correct, I unpacked to ram and clicked installer then. Will do as you suggest tonight. With thanks

Hmm that looks a lot like the issue I fixed in the 1.3 update. At least I thought I'd fixed it. Please check if sdk:local/clib2/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.5/MP3/Info.pm exists and check the contents of sdk:local/clib2/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.5/MP4/Info.pm Both should say package MP3::info and package MP4::Info near the beginning of the file.

Thanks for the further tests, I checked the archive and the file Info.pm hasgone missing from the drawer Mp3-Info-1.24 I'l fix tha oon, but in the mean time you can install MP3::Info.pm via the perl Makefile cd to MP3-Info-1.24/ and do make make install if that doesn't work just copy the file Info.pm in the MP3-Info-1.24 directory to sdk:local/clib2/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.5/MP3/Info.pm Hopefully that should be it. Mixing Perl and amiga style installing is proving just a tricky as I thought it would be!

Fixed the issues in the newly uploaded 1.4 archice (in upload queue at os4depot) but it may be quicker for you to follow the above instructions....

That is very odd. Line 529 should contain &RBNA_Labels not &RBNA.Labels that is an underscore not a dot. I just checked the archive on os4depot to check and the line is correct there. Is that exactly the error message you got? If so you may have a corrupted archive.

I'm guessing your message does have the underscore not the dot as you quoted as I've just looked at my installed headers (which are older as I rebuilt them for the release, and you may have rebuilt your from scratch depending on how you installed perl_reaction) and compared them with the SDK 'RBNA_Labels' has been changed to 'RBNA_Label' which is more correct as it's only describing one label. This kind of change wouldn't trip up a C program (as the underlying number is the same) , but unfortunatly it does a script Damn! I'll fix it, in the mean time, do a global replace on RBNA_Labels replacing it with RBNA_Label
