Amidvd bug ?
Just popping in

Hi,

I was trying today to burn a dvd with Amidvd. I backed up a drawer containing lots of photos. But some photos came from my win laptop and had some weird "picasa" stuff with the protection bit R unchecked (also read-protected).

Amidvd burned the whole thing onto the dvd but failed at the end chocking against the two-three unreadeble files.

I dont't thing this is simply a filesystem bug, because I was able to transfer the files from a flash card onto my hd...

Or am I doing something wrong ?

But you can't transfer them back, copy them for example to RAM: or just read them. As long as the 'R' bit isn't set nothing, incl. AmiDVD, can read the files.

then couldn't amidvd just skip the offending files or do a requester ? When burning on the fly, it makes the dvd unusable

Thanks for the answer !
