goodie. however, i am not sure it's a good idead to have all shared libs in a specific dir..
why not just let them live in the dev/libs folders? a lib is a lib, shared or not. i imagine people will pack their archives with both shared and static versions. or maybe static libs will go away in time..
i mean, in time we will have many shared libs, and it would be nice to have the categorized.

otoh most of the plain users out there need to find an
updated shared lib without digging through the dev subdirs.

At least the sharedlibs are the ones you'd need to install
even if you don't have the SDK on your miggy
