Clockport Ethernet

Has anyone ever done (or considered doing) an Ethernet adaptor for the A1200 clockport ?

a back-of-fag-packet calculation indicates a bandwidth of at least 2-3 MB/sec at the clockport, so ought to be doable to at least have 10MBit ethernet.

thoughts please ! can't be that hard can it ? (In traditional Top Gear manner !)

The RR-Net should work in the Amiga clockport, although Jens doesn't recommend it. Don't know if anyone tried to write drivers for it.

When there exists a Poseidon driver for USB to Ethernet
adaptors (didnt check that), it should be possible to
attach a Subway USB card to the clockport and the
USB-to-Ethernet adaptor to the Subway.

Interesting replies chaps !
I only ask cos:
a) its theoretically possible and we all know what that means, and
b) I remember a hack doc on aminet detailing the clockport which seemed to suggest that one either existed, or would soon.

of course, the USB route would be interesting in and of itself ! just a tad pricey...
