Does Vault automatically check for new entries on each startup? or is it just images? maybe it can be added to settings if entries/images are refreshed automaticly or manually run (a bit like AmiUpdate), and for manual it will notify when there is an update.

Vault recognises new images automatically. In the new version that I am working on, there will be a cache folder inside Vault's folder. If someone would like to redownload the images, they will have to delete the cache folder.

Changes included

### Added
- Added the help menu with more links
- Added a busy bar and a status section at the bottom of the window to show activity

### Changed
- Changed the place of storing the cached files. Now they survive a reboot
- When a screenshot is not defined, the default is displayed

### Fixed
- Fixed the software sort order

Thank you for the new update.

Just an idea can't we link Vault to the os4depot database and add a search function? In my opinion that would be cool.

I see what you mean. Vault is having links to OS4Depot, but it is not a GUI for OS4Depot.

You know, there are two applications out there that already can do what you asked for. One is the OS4Depot GUI (https://os4depot.net/?function=showfil ... /filetool/os4depotgui.lha) and the other is the UHCTools (https://aminet.net/search?query=uhctools). Both of them are parsing the OS4Depot content. They might be better than Vault.

I noticed yesterday that OS4Depot GUI app is really old, and probably will not work well. If anyone is interested, I would recommend UHCTools only

Yes, you're right, Os4Depot-GUI seems to be very old and crashes when executing or setting the preferences. I haven't tried UHCTools yet, but I'll take a look at it.

If you don't want to type commands manually for UHCTools, you can find a GUI for UHCTools at eab.abime.net. It works very well for me on AOS4.
Through UHCTools, you will have access not only to os4depot but also to other ‘sites’.
