The demo version has no VAAPI acceleration and a Demo requester pops-up on a regular basis.

For the price, I think everyone should buy it, it's really a very good program!

I agree with them, but here too there has been no further development for over 3 years. I am in good contact with the developers of Emotion and I have already reported a few bugs and expressed wishes that could contribute to the improvement of Emotion.

Yes, I bought the full version of Emotion and I can tell you that it works well. Unfortunately the functionality is not as great as with MPlayer, but they have accelerated video output which is great.
