Hello all

In order to get rid of the Scumm VM theme and install the new one...what may I do?

I have 4 themes but the old overpass the others

I have "scummodern" and "scummremastered" installed

What do you think?

Ideas please or any hints

Classic theme will be used if

1) User chose to do so
2) Any other theme used is broken or
3) the pages to your themes is broken, non-existent or missing in scummvm.ini

Solution:

1) Choose another one
2) load the theme.zip in any unarchover and see if it calls out errors (a broken .zip won't work)
3) Start the launcher, go to options/paths and set the correct theme path.

Yes, I know, 2.5.1 has incorrectly added a default .ini file, I was tired, sorry

OK thanks!!!

I will try all you say

Only to clear doubts: Must the theme be decompressed or just on a zip file?

Post your scummvm.ini (only the part under [ scummvm ])

The theme files are .zip and used as such

Did you install 2.5.1 yet?

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

You're not supposed to unpack the themes, just keep them as .zip files

Your theme drawer should look like this:
Quote:

Directory "Tools:Games/ScummVM/themes/" on Saturday 01-Jan-22
gui-icons-20211112.dat 66309102 ----rw-d 20-Nov-21 12:05:12
translations.dat 1678054 ----rw-d Yesterday 19:01:04
gui-icons.dat 2394929 ----rw-d Yesterday 19:01:04
scummclassic.zip 14134 ----rw-d Yesterday 19:01:04
scummmodern.zip 61812 ----rw-d Yesterday 19:01:04
scummremastered.zip 87639 ----rw-d Yesterday 19:01:04
residualvm.zip 88289 ----rw-d Yesterday 19:01:04
7 files - 17255 blocks used

Then you should point the path to it, like so
Quote:

themepath=Tools:Games/ScummVM/themes/

After that, you should be able to choose your theme in the options tab

In the directory you appointed me,I have only 4 themes but not the guiicons and the other files.

I remember you that I have the previous version to the last.

What may I do?

Probably best to get the latest version and redo your .ini file
