OS4.1 update one hangs on the logo screen

Hi,

The normal OS4.1 disc boots just fine and I can install it but when I run the update one disc it hangs on the Amiga OS4.1 logo. I tried a second disc and same things happens. I am installing it on my A1SE. Anyone got any ideas why it is frozen on the log screen?

Disabled the USB (which I turned on after I had it installed before) and I got the installation screen now.

It starts the hang during the installation/copy process and that kind be on 8% or 75%. It got to do with the usb files being loaded from the kicklayout file. I tried to edit that file and burn it again but it won't boot from the cd. I am a bit at a loss here on how to modify the file (commenting out the usb part) and put it back in the iso file and burn it correctly.

You should be able to do that in AmiDVD, at least the latest versions.

Always turn all usb and network off when copy'ing on the SE.

No need to turn off network (if you have a PCI hard drive controller).

Ah ok, and an usb- and networkcard will maybe also work, i guess.

Btw, upgraded to an X1000 i see !?
