HTML datatype: possible simpleHTML update with CSS?

As nowadays in amigaland we've got various browsers that support CSS html coding and few useful parsing libraries are available, would it be feasible to do a refreshed html datatype supporting some more tags?

I've always used the good simpleHTML by Sebastian Bauer, but it was last updated in 2005 and doesn't support CSS at all.
Anyone knows if Sebastian still around? Anyone has got its sources?

I know html and css are both a beast and combined are a huge task for a single developer, but I would appreaciate only some very basic engine update. It would lead to many possibilities, such more pleasant manuals than those amigaguide 80's stuff. And more than other it would be possibile to open html files without the need to open CPU and RAM hungry browsers.

What do you think?

I think the purpose of SimpleHTML was to be able read HTML docs easily and aren't most docs in HTML format only anyway?

The e-mails that I receive use HTML only and works fine in SimpleMail (using the same engine) or in IBrowse for example.

When you say CPU and RAM hungry, wouldn't that happen to SimpleHTML once you've added CSS features?

Absolutely an HTML datatype should remain extremely lightweight, that's a must.
No, personally I don't think such datatype will grow that much from the usage point-of-view adding a CSS interpreter as both the Javascript interpreter and the browser user interface wouldn't be there.
I would be happy also with a subset of the CSS implementation, for example having a full revision 1 and some tags of revision 2 of such standard would fine to me.

Ok, I won't vote against it but what exactly do you need it for? Something that might come or something that exists?

Some usage esample:
- reading manuals not in AmigaGuide format;
- reading emails, witch commonly contains CSS elements;
- quickly opening of html files I'm working on or I've downloaded;
- embedding of html elements in software guis for e.g. explanations or better looking solutions;

As of new software:
- HTML editors;
- basic word processors a la AmigaWriter;
- ...
