mplayer and zlib?

I get this when trying to play a quicktime movie here:

I guess the zlib inclusion wasn't configured when porting or is it something else?

Another question: is it possible to tell (effectively) the flickering of OSD to go and never come back?

remove the codecs.conf in your mplayer dir. mplayer will use the internal one, regard the OSD yes but you must search in the manual the way to put it in a conf file.. i don't remember..
