but did you boot the Install CD and perform the installation from the Install system,

Sorry if I sound dumb, the Amiga Installer is dumber than I'm!! It doesn't no it own boot state?

Please try the following:

in startup-sequence right AFTER setpatch type

c:run >NIL: c:cpu noexternalcache


and just use dhcp


this disables l2 cache but it worked for other people i have asked to try

perhaps it works for you aswell ?

And it would give us a better clue.
