Why wont DOPUS automatically start up? (SOLVED @nbache to the rescue)

Quite a regular

Version 4.

I have added it to WBStartup preferences. It points to the "DopusWBStart" script. It has the script protection bit.

Its contents is:


; Dopus WBRun startup script with optional delay

; Refer to DirectoryOpus.guide for other command line arguments.



; UnComment one of these Wait commands to delay opening

; DirectoryOpus if necessary.

I simply call the program itself from WBStartup (no script), having the prefs set as I want, and with the tooltype ICONSTART activated in DOpus' icon.

Works for me ...

Yep, @nbache. Works nice.

This perhaps suggests a change to the section 1.3.3 of the Docs/DirectoryOpus.guide (http://os4depot.net/?function=showfil ... ility/filetool/dopus4.lha) which suggests that you should, instead, use the DopusWBStart script.

Glad to hear it worked for you too

Yeah, the docs ... I'm not sure if anyone is even maintaining DOpus4 any more.

I also looked for a mention, maybe a list, of the tooltypes in the docs, but didn't find it. Not sure how I knew about that tooltype back when I set it.
