@mbrantley did you get the other video tool to work ? Found the desired lib, but still reports a missing lib/wrong version... ?
However I liked VideoClipper, did some Betatesting on it.

Why don't you use Samplemanager 2.0 from Thilo Köhler aka "Wanderer" (Author of HD-Rec) ? Works perfectly here on X1000 http://www.hd-rec.de/Archive/Samplemanager.lha

Well, I have a working Picasso96 installation, as I just copied the folder/partition over from my Winuae installation. I think I have either got it from my original AmigaHD, where I had the drivers installed which came with the Hardware or I have got those drivers from AmigaForever CD. Cannot remember, anymore. I used the official SDL version, and it works faster.
The purpose of installing the emulator was for running Amiblitz 3.5, which doesn' work on X1000/Petunia. However AmiBlitz 3.5 doesn't work inside the emulated enverionment. So currently it is not much use for me anyway...
thanx for help

@all Thanx, for infos... works. However the experience is bad on X1000 (e.g. compared to e-uae on AROS and of course WinUAE). It is a bit slow... However what buggars me most, is the fact, that I cannot even start AmiBlitz 3.5. Hoped I could, as AmiBlitz 3.5 Debugger don't work on X1000 OS 4.1 (It did on SAM Os4.1 upd5 though...) - However donnot bother to comment and give hints, as the AmiBlitz thing is already in Hyperion Forum.
Thanx for help

picasso modes inside e-uae on X1000?

Hi,
just trying certain E-UAE's... I copied AOS 3.9 and Work directory from my working WinUAE Installation, and tried to boot (e.g. e-uae incl. EasyUAE). All boots up fine expect that I cannot manage to select picasso modes insides OS3.9 ScreenPrefs. And yes Picasso Stuff is installed, as I use Picasso inside WinUAE...
Any Ideas ? Is it even possible to use picasso drivers inside e-uae on X1000 ?

@ChrisH I copied VOB files etc. to Harddrive, and yes it works with new avcodec.library. However, I am getting sort of "Interlace" stripes when the person moves fast (X1000 first contact).

@tommysammy you are having 3DVD Players inside X1000 ? Guess you are playing them from Harddrive ? Please give some details about:
1) name of DVD / downloadlink 2) resolution of DVD 3) software used (DVPlayer) 4) settings used
This makes it compareable to other systems. As for me, I can still not even play one DVD in full HD on my X1000. But yes, this might be due to havin comercial DVD`s etc.

Amiblitz 3.5 not working under upd.5 anymore ! This is however on update 5 on an AmigaOne X1000, though...
Problem is the a GRIM after a "STOP" Code, which then envokes the Debugger, therefore it is the Debugger causing trouble.
Could anybody try using AmiBlitz 3.5/REDDebugger on upd5 ?
Thanx

works as fast on my X1000 as firefox works on i5 2.4Ghz / WinXP. However, did not test it intensively yet, but looks like it "freezes" for while, when scrolling. Some scrolling work perfectly fast, some don't. BUT only if I use another theme (this is "Silvermel" 1.5.3). The default theme seems to work alright ?

to sum it up... go to SANE Website first and check wether the scanner is listed there or not (not only the manufacturer). Then check wether it needs a "closed" linux library only available for x86. I had a thread, I think on AW.net about my HP All-In-One Laserjet, which needed a one of those libs, therefor the backend couldn't compile on PPC Linux, and could never be ported to AmigaOS/Cygn as well. Therefor you will probably be better of, not to use a "new" scanner. Nevertheless, there are some workarounds: - scanners can scan to FTP (either local or on the net) - cheaper scanners/All-In-One Inkjet based have a webinterface (HP is well known for that, and works on OWB) - scanners can scan to USB/Card... which can be seen on WB as massstorage/drive - scanners can scan to SAMBA Share - scanners can scan to email I have (LAN) Xerox 6180MFP, which scans via FTP to a NAS (actually a HD sitting on my FritzBox Router) or scans to Amiga SAMBA Share. The samba share is monitored by "dirnotify", which calls a paintproggy once the file arrived in SAMBA Share . On the scanner you could: choose which ftpserver/SAMBA Share/email choose resolution choose fileformat (jpg, pdf, tiff - sadly no bmp or iff) choose different other settings...

A "smartboard" is an "interactive videobeamer". This means, the computerdisplay will be shown on a projection screen via beamer. In case you installed "Smartboard drivers", the projection screen will interact as "touchscreen". Therefore you can move the mouse with your fingers, just by touching the projection screen. In case you have a special "presentation software" installed (here: SMART Notebook V10) you can also use pens and a spunge in order to write something to your "blackboard".
Said this, every 86x Linux or MS Windows application can be used on a "Smartboard". This includes Hollywood proggies (compiled for one of those...) as well. As I said before, your software could be used for presentation on a smartboard, plus it could be even more advanced in order to replace "SMART Notebook V10" Software. But why reinvent the wheel... Nevertheless, it would be nice to sell digital maps and add a little presentation tool towards it, which is usable on Windows/Linux + Beamer/Smartboard e.g. "Higlighting" mapregions, drawing 10km circles round cities etc... so maybe I'll come back to this in a year or two.

Yes, I do use presentation stuff at work (as teacher), this is in conjunction with our "Smartboard". The Software is called "Smart Notebook 10". I thought about creating a similar soft via Hollywood (HW would be very suiteable for such a purpose). However there is no point (for me) to do such a huge project in Hollywood, as we won't connect Amigas to our Smartboards (Even though I did for the fun of it: Hyperion Support Forum ) Nevertheless, your Software looks good, and someday I might need similar functions, as I plan to establish a "pupil/student company" which will produce all kind of maps for beamers/smartboards/websites etc... it would come in handy, if there would be a suitable software to present those maps on smartboard and beamers...

"prime time" = time where most people are (TV wise) are online.. (as I am not mistaken, as non native speaker). However, I donnot know what's missing, but check my website/downloadsection. Here you can find downloadlink for the libs I use in iBatch: www.geobiz.de/ibatch.html -> Download. If that doesn't help, contact the author Thilo Köhler/Wanderer via www.amiforce.de or email. He usally replies very fast.

As HD-Rec is AmiBlitz and iBatch is also done in Amiblitz. I can tell you that this one http://aminet.net/util/libs/zlib-library.lhaworks with iBatch, and should also work with HD-REC... regards Gerograph
