@Chris Wow, really nice Browser, good work.
NetSurf does not display the german umlauts correctly in the Hotlistmenu and probably in all Reaction parts of NetSurf, the Webpages dont have this problem.

@Raziel
You can use Prefs/Screens to promode Netsurf to another screenmode, but at least in a 1600x1200 Screen/Window the redrawing has problems.

@Jack
It seems that AmiDVD and List use pattern matching on filenames they found - i dont see the point in doing this.
[ and ] characters are used by dos pattern matching and should not be used in filenames.
You have to use the ' character to neutralize the special meaning.
For example '#'? should only match the literal string "#?", but I cant get it working here. It seems to be broken.

@orgin Thanks, but OS4Depot already told me this during the upload. Everybody is able to download it from the upload-queue while we are waiting for Vartalls reply. BTW: What happens with files in the upload-queue (and the outdated file) if the old uploader never replies to your email?

Check OS4Depot for libopenjpeg 1.3.

@salass00
I have just compiled libopenjpeg 1.3, it should be faster and use less memory. I will do some tests and if all is fine, it should be in OS4Depot this weekend.

@orgin Quote: OT: Just e general question. Is the API on the original .so stable? Linux shared object API's doesn't always stay backwards compatible with earlier versions of the same libraries like amiga libraries does. Will your port stay backwards compatible even if the so doesn't?
I dont see a problem here, if the API changes salass00 could simply add a new Interface to the Library.

@Rogue Quote: Why is that so? I don't get this. Most of what is exposed as functionality in AmigaOS 4.0 is already available via the original released SDK. There are a few tidbits missing, but nothing critical. I don't get it, really.
A new SDK is in the make, but it takes time, as usual. We haven't dedicated much effort to it lately because there were other, more pressing issues.
If i remember correctly the Author of that tv-card driver needs AllocVecTags() for DMA-Buffers, it is not in current SDK. The full set of 64bit DOS functions would be nice too.

@Hans Quote: - Find : too simplest, don't manage to search into every drawers
I use it every day and I have not notice any problem whit it.
If I right-click on a window and select find, I have to de-select all other volumes before doing a search. I think that this could use some improvement.
Deselect all Vvolumes that should not be searched by default and save the settings (Amiga+S, or Pulldownmenu). The only problem I have with Find is that it does crash from time to time.

@allJust uploaded unshield 0.5.1 to os4depot.net. @ChrisQuote: Does unshield compile as a library? It looks like it will.
It does compile as a library. Quote: In lib/unshield.h there are some nice functions. Using src/unshield.c and the xad_rar code as references, it should be pretty easy to build a XAD client (I'm not offering btw)
I might have a look at it, but right now i want to spend some time for another project.

@ToAks Quote: sources are included, feel free to add it if u wanna.
Sources are not included, could you please upload them? EDIT: Just compiled unshield 0.5.1 it now seems to have a tool for crypted files. I dont have any InstallShield CAB files, where can i found some? EDIT: There is a new cabextract version but i think that somebody with access to the new SDK should compile it, or we will miss the support for large (>2GB) ms-cab files it has. http://www.cabextract.org.uk/cabextract-1.2.tar.gz

The author (Stuart Caie) of libmspack has done several XAD-Clients and XFD-Slaves, including the old CAB Client. Maybe we should simply ask for an update?

@NovaCoder Quote: Ok so a new card for running OS 4 classic would only need a PPC then.
No, the OS4 Kickstart is loaded by OS3, and that needs a working 68k.

SATA-Cards based on the sii3112, sii3114 and sii3512 chips should work.
Have a look at the OS4 docs - sii3112ide_dev.doc - sii3114ide_dev.doc - sii3512ide_dev.doc for more infos.

@Swoop
AIFF and all other IFF files cant be joined that easy. IFF-files have a header that contains the filesize. And of course the max filesize has a ~4GB limit. You could convert the files to RAW-PCM to join them easily.
