On my AmigaOne XE I used 8 or 9 AmigaOS4 boot iterations.

But for some reason only worked few,probably 2 or 3.Don't know why.

My AmigaOne XE is broken (I burnt the HD) and need some repair.

Who knows maybe in the future? Let's hope yes

And this was when AmigaOS 4.1 Update 6 was ruling the Amigacamp

I miss a lot Morphos specially for browsing Facebook and specially downloading games and emulators such as MAME.

Anyway I still feel "novice" in this Amiga SO/system.

Time will tell really what the future holds.

Just formatted Morphos partitions uith FAT32 I think and on gparted utility.

Tried all but it shows the same messages as yesterday.

No Morphos booting.

In one messages it says too "trying to load "l/slb_v2" from DH0.

Is this related to AmigaOS4.1?
I think yes because yesterday I booted AmigaOS 4.1 from a pendrive and formated all Morphos partitions as SFS/00 and SFS/02 inside Workbench with Media Toolbox HD preparation utility

How this affects to a possible Morphos installation?

I had downloaded Morphos 3.17 and burned to a USB pendrive before.

Now I will have to enter the options on U-Boot

Hi again,I'm back!!!

OK the problem comes here since 2 or 3 weeks that I have Morphos installed without booting.I tried several times with a CD-RW and a pendrive and the result was 0.On Fienix I formatted all the Morphos partitions cause they didn't boot and that was how I did on the previous succesfull attempt.I did the formats with gparted.

I entered "usb reset" and "bootmorphos" but it always give me the error message as:

"morphos bootloader version 1.10"

Then:

"failed to scan partitions on device 1"

And finally:

"failed to load a valid MorphOS kernel"

This on "boot from optical"

With the USB pendrive an MorphOS CD-RW prepared to boot and attached

What can I do? I want to re-install MorphOS again!

Tried the filesystem2 line but no luck.Still says that cannot find the "Work" partition on Workbench 3.9 on bootup

Maybe bacause my "Work" dir is sized on 17.8 GB? Is very heavy I think.

Apart of this I want to use Internet on the Amiga emulation as I have the line of bsdsocket as true but it doesn't work with YAM or IBrowse.

If I result these 2 issues I will probably don't write more and set the thread as "SOLVED"

I am really lost in the ice.

Remember that at the moment I can boot only the SYS partition.The Work one I didn't manage to boot on still.

What is your inner interest about the Amiga? Why do you still bet highly hard for the Amiga and not others you may now? Other computers I mean

I believe and bet for the Amiga because is the best in Software&Hardware and has the most enthusiastic comunnity of the world.

We have modern gfx cards and plenty of files and software on os4depot or aminet.

All is all a very underrated system that I feel she is jumping on the proper wagon and making impact soon again.

Amiga and Amigans are forever!!!

My AmigaOne X5000 is a beast machine, and hope to see and play for a dual core support soon.

There is a band called Red Wine also in Spain (La Rioja) where they cultivate the best wine in the world (they say the experts).I think I never listened to it.They play melodic Euro-Power Metal.Maybe you like em?

Anyway melodic Heavy Metal with wine or beer (as on my past cases) is always great!

On my X5000 I have no framerate or equal sound problems:In fact,I downloaded some Metal videos of various bands and genres (Mainly Heavy Metal and Thrash if someone is interested) and the only thing I could mention as inappropiate was the video and audio sync,but this does happens to usually with Final Burn and other Amiga programs.

Anyway on my AmigaOne XE clocked at 800 Mhz I downloaded some youtube videos in the past and they all played correctly on this machine.Great feeling there really.

On my AmigaOne X5000 I am using now E-UAE_1.0.0_AmigaOS4 version and it works great.

There is a thread about My X5000 E-UAE configuration here on this site and now I am trying to just boot my work partition.

I have 5 or 6 hardfiles/filesystems to boot "AmigaSYS4" and "Work" partitions.

Hope this can help/enlighten you a bit and run succesfully your UAE version cool inside your SAMs 440ep-flex like sailor,or whatever it holds.

I really don't know what's happening...why I still have about 5-6 "hardfile"&"filesystem" lines written on ".uaerc" file and if I leave uncommented one after the "AmigaSYS.hdf" HDD image it only boots the AmigaSYS4 one alone.And the mayor problem comes that if I leave commented a "Work" hdf file for example it makes the emulator booting unstable so I can not boot neither "DH0:" or the Work's partition "DH1".It "freezes" a lot yeah.

Thankfully you already opened my eyes wiith these kind possibilities.That's a work from you that I apreciate

Only want to add that when I will succeded to boot a Work hdf or a Work dir inside E-UAE I will open a bottle of champagne or maybe some beers to celebrate the efforts given by you.

Want to know more about this great AmigaSYS4 inside E.UAE emulator.
