@MamePPCA1

The program that I've used for years is mpdecode wich you can get from aminet. Decode your MP3's with that and burn them.

@joerg

When I press and hold arrow down it only scrolls one step whil I think that it should repeat the keypress.

Anyway, great update that works very nicely .

EDIT: Forget about that, it's working now. For some reason it didn't work when I wrote the message. Holding the right mousebutton didn't work either. I have switched mouse now and it seems to work now (not knowing if that was the problem).

@joerg

It seems to be leaking somewhere... I got 512MB RAM in my A1 G4 XE and I usually got more than 300MB left when AOS 4 has finnished booting. When I used OWB 2.2 I got about 60MB left after some browsing... after quiting it and using "avail flush" a few times I got about 140MB left

@Mikey_C

I bought a cheap black NEC AD-5170A for about 30 ?. I didn't think that it would work with AOS 4 at all but to my suprice it's worked great with fryingpan, makecd and workbench. I can really recommend it.

I could log in and read my e-mails wich I can't do with owb. I don't know what doesn't work with opera and hotmail.

It seems to work with Opera 9.51 wich I use under Debian on my A1. Give it a try maybe?

Wow, this new version seems to be rock-stable here so far. Sites that didn't work too well seems to work stable and good now. Yes it's very slow, but that was expected. Thanks!

@LiveForIt

It's cheaper, can have a fullsize keyboard and is nice when you want to connect it to a TV for games/movies. Perhaps it can fit a 3.5 harddrive as well.

@sundown

Good question, I wonder who could answer that question? I've had some problems downloading to FFS2 as well lately and yesterday I got a requester telling me that I got a read error on that partition and it locked up AOS making it impossible to move the mousepointer or using the keyboard. Maybe the size of the file was too big, I can't remember what the limit is for FFS2 is.

Another thing to mention is that transmissioncli works great with SFS partitions on a PATA harddrive but on a SATA harddrive it doesn't work at all, it just stops after a short while. I haven't tried with FFS2 on a SATA harddrive though.

@Lio

"Broken hardware, broken hardware, broken hardware". I've heard this since the A1 was released... is it 4 years ago? You know you can't blame everything on "broken hardware".

My hardware is working and I'm playing games with E-UAE. Maybe it's the user that is "broken" in some cases?

Crap, it stops responding as usual. This time I couldn't even move the mousepointer and the keyboards stopped responding . Works really well on the FFS2 partition though.

@afxgroup

Do you by "combo" mean the popup menu? In that case, yes I've tried to click that field like on other sites like amigans.net, aw.net etc but I can't change between the options using the arrows. Also tabing to the popup menu and then using the arrows doesn't work.

EDIT: I just read what I wrote and what I tried to say is that I can click the menu on amigans.net, aw.net etc and change the option using the arrowkeys. It's just at http://www.seb.se/ that it doesn't work AFAIK.

@joerg

Do you know why the popup menu doesn't work on this site http://www.seb.se/ under the text "Logga in"? This can be worked around by using ibrowse wich will take me further and allow me to log in, however there are more popup menues like this one wich is the only thing making this site not working .

I would love to see it working so I can use AOS 4 for internet banking.

EDIT: I'd like to add that doubleclick doesn't work and also sorry if puting this in the wrong thread.

@number6

I'm using version 1.5 and I seem to recall that it became stable at one point, maybe that's the solution then. I'm downloading to a SFS partition right now and it's been going on for a while... so far so good .

@sundown

I'm pretty sure that's the problem, it's been discussed at aw.net as well when the program was released.

I'm allmost allways downloading to a partition with FFS2 and Transmission is very stable then. I got the same problems when I use SFS. I haven't seen any reports about the reason for the problem (transmissions or sfs).

@orgin

I agree it's horrible ... This site used to work fine with IBrowse and AWeb some years ago... it looks kind of the same still but there are horrible adds everywhere and it's so slow! I don't know what they did but yes the site is somewhat horrible. I still like the design though but I wish they could take out most/all of the adds from there or use them less.

However javascript isn't the cause for why it stops responding, this doesn't happen under Debian using firefox, opera or konqueror even though it's slow. Also I recently got a DSI error.
