Internet News : Watch Amiga Roundtable #43 Live!
Posted by MobbyG on 2009/10/18 8:52:25 (1414 reads)
Internet News

Yes, you read the title right! You can WATCH us record Amiga Roundtable live. This is a beta thing, so by no means does this mean it's going to be 100%

Also some people will be excluded from watching as this is being sent via flash since we have no way in place to rebroadcast it via Shoutcast. But the video will be available later in Quicktime as well as uploaded to Youtube and Ustream. If anyone is willing to convert it to another format, let me know and I will happily get you a copy as soon as the show is done so you can re-encode it. Audio will also be made available soon after.

Software News : The OS4 SDK 3rd Party AmiUpdate Database is Back!
Posted by spotUP on 2009/10/13 21:37:27 (1307 reads)
Software News

After a long offline time the SDK database is finally BACK.
One HD in the old RAID1 setup failed and the tries to swap out the faulty drive and rebuild the RAID failed. It's hard times in Spot's life, and I couldn't afford new drives at this time, that's when Varthall stepped up, and unselfishly paid for one of the new drives as he liked the service they offered.
After that I managed saved up for the remaining one, and here you go the service is back!

Software News : BOUNTY: AMP package for AmigaOS4.1 (Apache, MySQL and PHP).
Posted by Troels on 2009/10/6 23:28:33 (2290 reads)
Software News

This bounty consists of two phases both assigned to AmiCygnix developer Edgar Schwan.

First bounty covers phase one and will bring an up-to-date Apache, MySQL and PHP to AmigaOS4.1 via AmiCygnix.
The package will contain a minimal AmiCygnix installation, so you won't need to install the large AmiCygnix base package.
A bounty of minimum EUR 500 must be reached for Edgar to port these applications.

When phase one is complete, we will open a bounty for phase two. Phase two consists of a fully native port of Apache, MySQL and PHP utilising whatever the current version of AmigaOS4.x has to offer. A bounty of EUR 300 must be reached to get the fully native port.
