.info icon support png alpha channel?

I am trying to create a double image icon (amigaos icon) starting from two image in png format with alpha channel. When i create the icon the grey (alpha channel) background is visible in the background of the icon. I would like to know if amigaos4 icon support alpha channel transparency. Thanks

They do. I usually use Sketchblock to create icons, although no double stage ones.

You can try with Iconeditor. I use it to do dual states icons.

Sorry, which program did you use to create the PNG images? The problem is the "PNG DataType", it only supports 24 BIT and not 32 BIT when saving. The exception is "SketchBlock"; this program does not use the "PNG DataType" to save.

Otherwise you can load the pictures with "Program Information" and then save as "Icon".
