What type of book is it? Programmers book or user book?
Edit: Just read on the web page that it's a programmers book. I'd defenitly buy that if it was ever printed (english version). Should be of use even for gcc under os4 I presume? |

The guru book fills in (pretty much) all the gaps in the RKMs, stuff like how to write handlers, filesystems and all sorts of stuff, as far as i can tell.
A version updated to just os3.x would still be reasonably useful for OS4 (hell, i was reading my hardcopy RKMs just the other day while developing for OS4). I would definately have bought a copy ![]() |

If there was a price available perhaps it would be possible to set up a preorder thingie for it. And if there's enough interested just print it?

uhm,
i think that even if there is a torrent no one prefer a stupid PDF instead a "real" book. Why don't you ask how many people would buy a copy? One is mine |

I've just created an online petition so we can show Ralph how much we still want a legitimate copy of the Amiga Guru Book in English. Please sign the petition:

Good initiative. Already 19 signatures in the first three hours. But we need (and should easily get) many more. Get over there and sign, guys!
Best regards, Niels |

If the rewrite does go ahead, I hope you will get some native English speakers to proof read it :)

It is already known that we try to reprint the English Amiga Guru Book by Ralph Babel.
